Lots of wood and this load was for walls and headers.
One thing we did right was to insist on a loader to move the material around to the back side of the house. Many horror stories about midnight shopping runs by stealers. This guy was just an expert at moving these long pieces of lumber.
These are 2 x 6 studs that made up the 10 foot walls we used all around the outside of the house so we could get 5.5 inches of insulation between the studs plus we put the studs on 24 inch centers again for the extra space for insulation. Wood transmits heat and cold very easily so I reduced the amount of wood in the wall. Also saved on costs as well. Since I am sheathing with 7/16 OSB, the wall will still be strong.
This long piece of manufactured wood is for the central beam in the vaulted Great Room. I think it will look great when it is stained.
It just keeps coming...$$$$$$
