Friday March 9, 2012 Final Day of Polishing

We had a really cold front blow in late Thursday afternoon which brought almost freezing temperatures and sleet and rain.  The guys kept working even though Remi had to go get more winter clothes for the guys.

Mike and Remi were doing the final grinding of the garage floor.

This was early on Sat when the crew had covered up the back porch.

Inside the crew used the broken and damaged Dow Blue board to cover the floors.  They did a great job of covering up the floors to protect them.

Another picture of the back porch covered.

Eric was attempting to keep the cold wind out of the garage where they were doing the final application of tung oil.

Remi and his new hat and gloves to try to keep warm.  It had been 80 degrees just the day before.

Here is the mess the storm did to the site.  Rained about 2.5 inches.

Pictures a little out of sequence but this is the front porch after the tung oil had begun to soak in.

Front porch from the other side.

Remi and crew are out of here and after almost 168 man hours of work in the past 4.5 days.
